Winners were picked by the editorial staff and advisory board of Food Logistics. The award recognizes new-to-market software and technology solutions in the supply chain industry.
“From robotics and warehouse automation to procurement and ERP software, WMS, TMS and supply chain visibility solutions, the supply chain software and technology sector continues to boom. These solutions (and many more) are designed to streamline, optimize and innovate the supply chain and logistics space, and do so by incorporating emerging technologies and a path to efficiency,” said Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
ALC Logistics developed the ALC Carrier app as an enhancement of their AlchemyTMS software solutions. AlchemyTMS software solutions are used by growers, manufacturers, producers, distributors, retailers, and other shippers and receivers across North America, helping them make better business decisions by streamlining their business operations, improving the productivity of their personnel, and increasing the visibility of their related costs.
The ALC Carrier app is a tool developed to help shippers track their cargo as it moves to its destination. AlchemyTMS leverages data collected by the Carrier app, so the shipper has full visibility of where their product is and when to expect it.
“ALC Logistics, the software division of Allen Lund Company, is thrilled to be a recipient of the 2023 Food Logistics Top Software and Tech Award. We are one of the largest 3PLs, managing thousands of truckloads of food products throughout the US. Our TMS platform was designed specifically to manage fresh produce and other food loads. It is a testament to our employees who work on these tech products to have this recognition from our customers and by Food Logistics,” said Kenny Lund, Executive Vice President of the Allen Lund Company.
